ABOUT BECKY
I’m Becky Nieves—a mom of four, parenting educator, coach, speaker, school board member, rare disease advocate and cycle breaker. I help parents understand how what they learned at home shows up in the way they respond today, so they can stop repeating what hurt them and create something different for their children.

I decided at 14 that I would go to college to get a psychology degree. Why? I knew something was wrong with my family and wanted to figure it out. My father is a narcissist and my mother was his enabler. I saw multiple generations of my own family pass down the same trauma they were handed. I got the psychology degree, therapy, and coaching but still chose to go no contact.
I went to work in the mental health system and saw the same patterns I saw in my own family.
I went to work in the corrections system and saw the same systems that kept offenders re-offending in a system that failed them since childhood.
I became involved in my public school system after having two children need special education services and continued to see the same patterns play out in the same school system I help oversee.
Enough was enough.
My work helps parents move from understanding into practical, repeated action—without shame and without chasing perfect parenting.
Awareness is a vital first step, but true transformation demands action. We move beyond understanding why things happen to actively changing how we respond.
Perfection is unattainable and fuels anxiety. The focus is on connection, resilience, and growth—embracing mistakes and learning along the way. Grace is the name of the game here.
Relationship breaks are inevitable. Strength is shown in how we repair—through reconnection, accountability, and healing after disconnection.
Curiosity leads to insight. By setting aside judgment and asking questions, we uncover the understanding needed to change old patterns.
Lasting change takes time. It comes from steady, deliberate practice. Small, repeated steps build enduring new habits.
Becky brings a background in psychology, advocacy, family support, nonprofit work, school board service, and community leadership. These experiences shape her practical, honest approach to parenting education and coaching. Becky is not a licensed mental health professional and does not provide therapy, diagnosis, crisis care, or clinical treatment.

Observe your automatic patterns without judgment or immediate reaction. The goal here is to get a handle on your reactions, both physical and emotional.
Create intentional space between the trigger and your response. Again, no judgement here, the goal is to stop long enough before you say or do something you regret.
Asking questions is your superpower hero, we keep going until we feel confident you understand the why and the now what.
Just like you lift to grow muscle, we need to repeat the new choices to build that cycle breaking muscle, with me there to help you stay accountable.
