The Black Sheep Was Never the Problem.

The Pattern Was.

I didn’t arrive at this work through theory alone.

I grew up in a narcissistic system where emotional volatility, control, and unpredictability were normal. By fourteen, I knew something wasn’t right.

So I studied psychology. I went into mental health. I worked in corrections. I served in public education.

And everywhere I looked, I saw the same trajectory: patterns that go uninterrupted escalate.

I saw adults living out what no one interrupted in childhood. I saw how survival wiring becomes personality, then identity, then legacy.

And I understood something quietly and clearly:

If I didn’t change this, I would become it.

That wasn’t dramatic. It was neurological.

When I became a mother, the stakes sharpened.

My daughter was diagnosed with a rare lung disease. Boundaries were no longer philosophical — they were necessary. When I set them, the system resisted. When I chose no contact, it cost me.

But I knew something most people avoid admitting:

You cannot manage a dysfunctional system into health. You can only interrupt your participation in it.

So I did.

This work exists because I have seen both sides.

I have seen what unhealed patterns do inside families.
I have seen what they become in prisons.
I have seen what they cost in schools.

You are not broken. You were patterned.

Survival wiring does not disappear just because you understand it.

If you don’t rewire it, you repeat it.

That is why my work is structured.
That is why Do Over Your Drama™ exists.

Not to relive the past.
To interrupt it.
